Candle Making Tip
When attaching the wick tab sustainers you can use a pair of pliers or a pair of scissors very carefully. The best thing to use are electrical crimpers especially the 4 way crimpers, most hardware stores will have them.

There are a lot of different wick sustainers on the market, as a general rule you would use the 15mm wick sustainers for tealight and votive's with the added option of using the 6mm neck wick tabs if you are concerned about the bottom of the cups and glasses getting too hot. The 20mm wick sustainers are best used with wick for pillar candles or large container candles.

The wick pins are used to keep your wick central and taught whilst your poured wax cools and shrinks.
The votive auto wick pins are placed in the mould before pouring then removed from the set candle to leave a hole for a waxed wick

The 15mm wick tabs will fit wicks up to and including LX20, ECO6, CSN12, NT44, RRD37, and Flat Wicks 3x12 all sizes larger than this need the 20mm sustainer fitted.

15+6mm Neck Wick Tabs
These wick tabs have a 6mm neck and are used if you want the candle wick to extinguish safely leaving a little wax. This does not replace the need for a suitable container or base.

The 20mm wick tabs will fit all the wicks apart from the larger NT wicks. The smallest of the wick sizes and the TL wick need to have a 15mm tab fitted as the 20mm is just too big.

The self centering wick tabs are for use in the votive glasses. If you have a tall container with a long waxed wick this sustainer may be better for added stability.

Made for use in votive glasses when you have poured your wax just drop in the wick tabs and wick and it will drop to center. These tabs will only self centre in a standard 50mm votive glass

Use these in the votive moulds. If the pin is hard to remove after the candle has set just put the candle face down with the pin on a block of wood, then place your hands round the candle and gently push down.
Auto Votive Wick Pin
Place these wick pins in the 15 hour votive moulds before wax pour to leave a hole in your finished candle for wick insertion

To use the wick pin you need to prime your wick by dipping it into melted wax, then push the pin through the wick at one end. Thread the wick through the mould and out of the hole until the wick pin is sat on the top of the mould.
