This page has our most commonly used votive and small container wicks they have been pre-waxed and assembled with sustainers fitted. If you are unsure of the wick you require you can contact our sales desk for advice or try a votive wick sample pack, either way we recommend that you buy small amounts and test the wick before purchasing larger amounts.

Votive Wicks

V45/S1-60
This is a self trimming wick which gives a neat small flame. A full wax pool is achieved coupled with a slow wax consumption rate which makes this wick ideal for scented room freshener candles. Please note that the moulds should not be filled to the top when using this wick, you will still get a 15 hour burn even though
you will use less wax.

A guide to making votive candles

V45/S3-80
V45/S5-80
These are self trimming wicks that have a stronger flame than the S1. If you want to have a full sized votive or make container candles using the votive glasses then these wicks are ideal. The S3 votive candle wick has a stronger flame than the S1 wick and the S5 is stronger than the S3 wick.

V45/SPC-60
This is a self trimming wick which gives a good strong flame. It has two very thin paper cores which give it very good burning abilities that is to say that it can work in just about all paraffin wax blends. This wick has become our best seller as it is often used to replace wicks in votive candles people have purchased that just do not work.

Wedo ECO1 - ECO2 - ECO4
Paraffin or Natural Wax Coating
The ECO wick is a flat, coreless, cotton wick with thin paper filaments interwoven for burn stability
ECO wicks are particularly successful in lower
melt-point natural waxes.

Wedo LX8 - LX10 - LX12 - LX14 - LX16
Paraffin or Natural Wax Coating
The LX wick is a very thin flat cotton wick that has great self trimming capabilities and can be used in Paraffin or Soy waxed candles. For use in votives the LX8 and LX10 are succesful in a paraffin votive candle and the LX14 and LX16 are for use in a soy votive candle.

NT29 - NT32 - NT35 Beeswax Votive Wick

The NT wicks unique braid means it will work well with beeswax votive candles.
In some cases the tip of the wick may need trimming before each lighting of the candle
